Torn Apart at the Seams - Liberty Dispatch

This new liberty dispatch is a little different than what I have done lately but I want you to hear me out. It's been a long time since people have said that they are truly proud of our country. Right now there is a huge amount of anger, despair, and distrust in our government and institutions. It seems like our cities are decaying as lawlessness and crime have become the norm. People are feeling like they are less and less in control of their future, both economically and in their family's future and they fear what their children are going to inherit.

The mistake we are making as a country right now is that because of all our anger and partisanship, we are desperately looking for a political figure to save us and repair our country. The truth is that the government will never be able to do that and all we are doing by turning to idolatry is ceding more and more power to the government.

So what should we be doing? Stop looking for the government or politicians to save the day. As 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land."
