Bogdan Bucur (Associate Professor of Patristics at St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary) discusses the meaning of theophany in Scripture and the Patristic tradition with particular reference to its relationship to the ethical life of Orthodox Christians. This lecture was the first keynote of the OCA's DOS Assembly in July 2023 at St. John of the Ladder Orthodox church in Greenville, SC.
