Maryland Zoo: Julius to undergo major medical procedure

The Maryland Zoo will perform a major medical procedure on its struggling baby giraffe. Julius will undergo the procedure Wednesday. Zoo staff have given him additional fluids, vitamins and antibiotics to help improve his chances of surviving the impending procedure, which zoo staff described as coming with serious risks.
