Lahaina Police Chief Accused of Cremating Bodies in Containers

2,000+ children are reported missing from Lahaina public schools, by the Hawaii State Department of Education.

115 people are officially declared dead.

Maui County Mayor Richard Bissen said last week that 850 people were still missing, but officials said that possibly 1,000 to 1,100 people were unaccounted for and that number may rise if more reports come in.

Officials have denied reports that bodies washed ashore on Lanai, the island east of Maui. in spite of the video evidence showing otherwise.
