I loved the Saints Row games, millions of others did as well. But the writing was on the wall with Agents Of Mayhem.
I & many others gave them a chance, we bought the game & it was terrible.
They apologized & promised to do better with the new Saints Row. We gave them a chance.
They LIED to us. They doubled down on what THEY wanted to release regardless of the pushback. It's almost like they didn't know how business worked. You make a product, consumer looks at product, consumer says "Looks Bad", company changes formula, Consumer likes & buys product= Good Product Much Money!
But instead they spat in our faces & insulted us. They Protested us, thus protesting making money.
I know there were things happening in the back end some employees didn't like as well. But in the end they were paid 100 Million dollars & they purposely made a product they knew would not sell.
Honestly, I am looking forward to playing the reboot on PS Plus tomorrow, it will be hilarious & it will be at the perfect price: 0.00$ lol
I'll make some meme videos or livestream it, we'll see.
So the studio is now gone & with that, 100s of GOOD employees that had nothing to do with the Protesting of the consumer lost their jobs & security.
Volition, gets no tears from me outside that. They knew what their employees were doing & let them do it anyways. Or they didn't know anything & let it all happen without control.
I don't understand how companies are allowing these activists to destroy their games. I know they have ESG ratings but more & more now companies are ditching that BS because it has no basis on reality & it is clearly reflected in all the Woke failures we see today.
Lastly, if for some reason you are reading & seething over what I wrote about the game franchise & the company, YOU NEED TO RELAX! Disconnect from tying your identity to a video game or movie or show or character, I am not talking about YOU. I am strictly targeting the Company & the activists that willfully bankrupt because they hate capitalism & somehow found their way into all our media.
Once all this BS stops, you will ALL see how games can be fun again.
