The majority of people are fixed on the "power" of prayer, but have never been willing to enter into the "purpose" of prayer. Thus, the Western-centric Church is [generally] weak, emaciated, and ineffectual in accessing the wonderous gift of power and effectual prayer life!

We bargain, we manipulate, we placate, we supplicate... but we never come into the fullness of the riches of communion with the Lord and His anointed!

And a life devoid of an effectual prayer life, is a life lived in vain.
