Bits of Torah Truths - God will Magnify His Torah - Episode 4

ספר ישעיהו פרק מב
כא יְהוָ֥ה חָפֵ֖ץ לְמַ֣עַן צִדְק֑וֹ יַגְדִּ֥יל תּוֹרָ֖ה וְיַאְדִּֽיר׃

Isaiah 42:21
42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; He will magnify the law, and make it honourable. (KJV)

Here Isaiah says that HaShem will for the sake of His righteousness magnify His Torah. The Torah is considered to be the substance of divine revelation to Israel and God's revealed teaching or guidance for all of mankind. It would be surprising the Torah was not included in the NT text. By exalting the Torah and making it honorable, God is emphasizing its importance and encouraging people to follow its teachings. This is why Yeshuabwhen he was here taught the Torah of God.
