SpaceX Crew 1's return to Earth See the highlights, SpaceX

SpaceX Crew-1 mission launched in November 2020, marking the first operational crewed mission for the Crew Dragon spacecraft in collaboration with NASA. During the mission, Crew Dragon's crew members spent approximately four months on the International Space Station (ISS), conducting various tasks and experiments. The crew consisted of NASA astronaut Victor Glover, Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi, European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Thomas Pesquet, and SpaceX Crew-1 Commander Shannon Walker.

This mission took place during the COVID-19 pandemic, and extensive precautions were taken to ensure the safety of the crew members and the success of the mission.

Upon completion of their exploratory journey, SpaceX Crew-1 safely returned to Earth. The spacecraft re-entered Earth's atmosphere and landed under the guidance of the Crew Dragon Control Center. This return marked a successful milestone for Crew Dragon and SpaceX, demonstrating their capability to conduct crewed missions and opening the way for future space exploration endeavors.
