UN chief heat officer calls for firm COP28 commitments

The recently appointed inaugural United Nations Global Chief Heat Officer, Eleni Myrivili, told the Reuters IMPACT climate conference on Wednesday (Sep 6) that political leaders should make firm and fast commitments at November's COP28 climate meeting to temper rapidly rising global temperatures.
