Steveo's description of the strap:

"Canvas from a Land Rover tilt ( canopy). Material is believed to be the original from a Series 3 LWB which was received into service from 1984 – 1994 with 7 Para. A grey/khaki colour and with similar characteristics to the canvas used on the other canvas nato straps but slightly thinner. Complete with canvas keepers and brushed steel buckle as shown."
