On Wednesday July 26, 2023 at a House Judiciary Committee Hearing, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was grilled by Republicans and praised by Democrats for his oversight, or lack of it, regarding our southern border disaster.

One Republican in particular, with a very unique background, showed no mercy for Mayorkas who was comically obvious in his smirking "you-will-never-get-an-answer-from-me" attitude.

That Representative is Victoria Spartz, from Indiana.

Victoria Kulheyko (Spartz) was born in 1978 Nosivka, Chernihiv Oblast, Ukraine, which at the time was part of the USSR, legally emigrated to American in 2000, became a US citizen in 2006 and got elected to the US Congress in 2020.

Mayorkas also is an immigrant, born in Cuba in 1959 and his family moved to Miami in 1960.
