1John 3 - 4:1- 6
John talks about God Being Love and us living as children of God. Believing in Christ begins our journey of becoming more like Him. Although we are not perfect we may still sin we are aware of it and we ask forgiveness and work towards being more like Christ. We do not continue to practice sin and try to justify it.
John further discusses the imperative of Love. We should Love one another and do it not just in tongue but in deed and in truth.
Finally John warns us to not believe every spirit and to test every one against the word of God and ensure they confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh and is of God. Beware of False prophets.
