Deception or Disclosure?

A grand deception could be on the horizon as the corrupt elite class have been found out and are on the run. A minority of these people still cling on to their Operation Mocking Bird narrative but could be about to release fake alien contact, with the promise of new advanced green technology for humanity. The thing is these technologies are 80 years+ old and will be used as a distraction to hide away their corruption. Either way humanity wins but how will humanity get introduced to these new tech game-changers?
