Recall From A Sit Vs. Naturally

Doing a recall out of a sit is incredibly different from recalling your dog naturally. When in the teaching stages, it’s important for your dog to be able to come when called naturally because we’re gearing up our dogs for realistic scenarios, aren’t we? Although it’s not wrong by any means to have your dog sit before a recall, you’ll notice that your dog is already focused on you so the anticipation is there for what they’re being asked to do, it’s more simple. We have to allow our dogs to move organically within the training.
