Mission to the Mysterious Continent: Almost five years ago a strange seismic activity occurred in the Pacific Ocean. It was large enough to cause Earth tremors and tsunamis that damaged nearby coastlines. In the epicenter was Earths greatest mystery; What was once open ocean now lies a land mass half the size of Australia. Scientist from numerous institutions descended on the new continent only to discover a land teaming with creatures from eons past with only less than a handful of survivors to tell the tale. The area is now a forbidden zone protected by naval fleets from several countries. The GI Joe Adventure Team suspects the forces of A.X.I.S. is behind the mysterious existence of the island. The action starts as the UN granted the GI Joe team permission to explore the newly christened continent of "New Pangea". As our explorers trekked through the labyrinthine waterways of New Pangea it wasn't long before its local inhabitants popped up to say hello. But where lesser men would flee in terror, GI Joe will stand and fight, fight and triumph. This will be one of many adventures for GI Joe in the Mysterious Continent!
