AFTER actor Danny Masterson would turn himself into a household name thanks to his performance as the lovable goofball Steven Hyde on “That 70s Show”, he’d find himself starring in his newest role as an inmate of the California penal system having been found guilty of assaulting multiple women nearly twenty years ago. But before his entire life would go up in smoke, this longtime actor was born Daniel Masterson on March 13th, 1976 in New York’s Long Island. There, his mother, Carol, worked as a talent manager, while his father, Peter, held a career as an insurance agent. With his mom already having her foot in the door of the entertainment industry, by the time Danny was four, he was already modeling and once he was a teenager had had appeared in over 100 commercials for brands like Hardee’s, Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes, Hostess, Tang, and Clearasil. But Danny isn’t the only infamous off-spring Carol and Peter would produce – his brother, Christopher Masterson would also become well-known a few years later for his role as Francis on “Malcolm in the Middle”. It’s not entirely clear when his parents split, but at some point, Carol would remarry a man named Joe Reaiche – a former Australian rugby player. They then had two more kids who would also have careers in showbiz – Alanna and Jordan Masterson – the former of whom would star in “The Walking Dead”, while the latter would co-star in the sitcom “Last Man Standing”.
