Eagle River Wildfire I-70 Closed

Trapped 24 hours by the Eagle River Wildfire! The fire started from a head on collision between an suv and dump truck on Highway 6.

Winds quickly spread the blaze across 27 acres of dry brush. Several planes and a helicopter dropped water and fire suppressant to help control the fires growth.

Our location directly across the canyon from the wreck left us trapped for 24 hours stuck between the road blocks. Were thankful it didn’t start on this side of the canyon!
