- David Mason (born May 10, 1946 in Worcester) is a British composer, singer and guitarist, who became famous with the band Traffic. During his long career, Mason participated in numerous recording sessions for renowned artists, including Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, George Harrison and Mama Cass Elliot as well as Fleetwood Mac in 1995. His best known song is Feelin' Alright recorded by Traffic in 1968, then taken over by more than 48 artists including Joe Cocker who obtained a major success with this title in 1969. For Traffic he wrote the classic Hole in my Shoe. We Just Disagree, the hit from Mason (1977) composed by Jim Krueger, became a radio hit.
