El-Erian Sees 55% Probability for ECB Hike Next Week

Mohamed El-Erian, chief economic adviser at Allianz and Bloomberg Opinion columnist, says the threat of stagflation puts the European Central Bank in a "tough situation," seeing a 55% probability that policymakers raise interest rates next week. "It's that close as to whether they should hike again," he says on "Bloomberg The Open."
