Daniel Khalife manhunt: What happened leading up to his arrest?

Daniel Khalife was pulled off a bike by plain-clothes officers before he was arrested, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed.

The 21-year-old former soldier was approached on a towpath next to a canal in Greenford, west London, after being on the run for 75 hours.

Commander Dominic Murphy said he was fully cooperative at the time of his arrest at 10.41am today.

He was arrested for being unlawfully at large and being an escaped prisoner, Mr Murphy said.
