Serbian LGBT Rally Faces Counter-Protest In Belgrade
Hundreds of activists gathered in the streets of Belgrade, amid a heavy police presence, to oppose an LGBTQ+ protest in the Serbian capital on September 9.
March organizers said it was the largest demonstration ever in Serbia, a traditionally conservative and Orthodox Christian country.
