PURSUE GOD’S WISDOM

Proverbs 9:10 New King James Version
10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!
There's something powerful in what James is saying in these verses from this morning, that I really needed, because I have a tendency to pursue things that aren't of God, or I’m pursuing things that I think are of God, and they turn out to not be. I was especially challenged by the questions from this morning’s devotional, and I'd like to share them with you tonight, because I think we need to ask these questions of ourselves as believers, and I pray that the questions I share tonight, Not only challenge you, but get you to thinking about the type of wisdom that you pursue. Please read these questions very carefully, and allow God to speak to you through them.

What “wisdom” does the world offer?

How can you best assess the wisdom you’re offered?

I'd like to share some things that God showed me from his word this morning, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will really penetrate your hearts and minds. That it will challenge you to see the difference between the wisdom of this world, and what God offers in wisdom. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that you will ask God every day to give you discernment when you are either exposed to or someone is attempting to influence you in a particular ideal, teaching, theology, or wisdom. Ask God to help you be able to discern between the wisdom that this world offers, versus the heavenly everlasting wisdom He freely gives. Remember, my friends, that the wisdom the world offers is based on lust, vanity, conceit, arrogance, selfishness, and empty promises. It promises you the quick and easy path to happiness and success, but in the end it only brings heartache and destruction. I pray that you choose to seek God's wisdom, and pursue it every day! When you are being bombarded by the influences of this world, examine everything that you’re told against what scripture states, and if it goes against God's Word, RUN! In short, my friends, make sure that you're following God's wisdom and not man's.
