Ten rate hikes in 18 months, I can't remember in living memory

"I plead to the Bank of Canada, the Governor, to go out there, talk to the average person like I do, go out there and meet the people that are struggling, people that can't afford a mortgage because of rate hikes. Not just the hikes, but the speed that you did it at. Ten hikes, I can't remember in living memory - the Bank of Canada, or the Governor raised rates 10 times in 18 months. If we don't see the stop, people will lose their homes. They're struggling. Mortgages have doubled. There's no reason to raise or hike rates."
