It's All True... Except The Lies.

TV Sci-fi drama/documentary, which caused worldwide headlines when first broadcast as it purported to show a link between Britain's 'brain-drain', climate change, and a human colony on Mars.

This legendary pseudo-documentary fooled many viewers when it aired as part of ITV's respected Science Report slot in 1977. It posited that a top-secret government conspiracy to save the global elite from ecological catastrophe on Earth by secretly constructing huge rockets to transport them to colonies on Mars was real.

Whilst fiction, many have argued that the events of Alternative Three are based on a real-life secret space program. It's also noted that the legendary American commentator Bill Cooper also talked about Alternative Three, as well as Alternative One and Alternative Two. Fascinating stuff.
