The US Civil War began because South Carolina seceded from the Union. The 1871 post-war United States was taken over by the banksters and their corporate fictions and legal jargon. The banksters system is designed to enslave the entire population to debt. However, the debt (now approaching $33 trillion) belongs to United States Inc. If the States secede now, they also, secede away from the bankster debt.
