Your dog deserves to learn and build confidence

When your dog is struggling with something, it’s important to help them work through it. By helping your dog to work through things they may not like, you give them the opportunity to learn and build confidence. Which inevitably will build their trust in you as well! Some things that your dog may not enjoy are non-negotiable. There are things your dog just HAS to learn how to tolerate. And although it will cause them discomfort at first, by giving them a safe setting to push them out of their comfort zone, they may actually learn to enjoy the things they were terrified of before. If we limit our dog’s lives by saying “they don’t like that so we’re not going to try”, you are limiting their experiences and your relationship with them.
