Stewards of God's Mysteries: Priests After the Order of Melchizedek

The message emphasizes the priesthood of believers according to the order of Melchizedek. This priesthood is eternal and indestructible, unlike the Aaronic priesthood which passed away.
As priests, believers are called to grow in righteousness through studying the scriptures, prayer, and gazing upon spiritual truths. The goal is for the soul and body to become like the spirit, which is already made perfect in Christ's image.
Mortality will be swallowed up by the immortal, resurrection life we have in Christ. The Holy Spirit is given as a guarantee of this future glorification. In the meantime, we must avoid sin and covetousness which bring God's wrath.
The dignitaries of faith like Abraham and Moses are to be honored, not mocked. God wants to share his glory with us as we overcome. He is already sharing his priestly ministry with believers.
As we grow in righteousness, we long to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling. Our bodies will experience and display God's life and nature. This happens through training, resistance, and dependence on the Spirit. Communion connects us to resurrection life.
Overall, the message emphasizes growing in our priestly identity through God's word, prayer, righteousness, and anticipation of our final glorification in Christ.
