Rapture! — From the Jaws of Disaster

The rapture of the church is imminent. Of this there is no doubt. We could meet the Lord in the clouds in the very near future. But while we have a precious promise that we will be removed from earth prior to the tribulation, we have no promise that we will be removed prior to hard times. Tribulation, persecution, suffering for Christ, and suffering for righteousness are part of the Christian's lot in life. Things could get uncomfortable here in the West, especially America, before the rapture trumpet sounds. We could see significantly more tribulation stage setting. The fact is, there are indications in Scripture that the church will experience exceptional trial prior to the rapture.
