Gearist gets into the whip-quick and lightweight trail racing shoe, the Salomon S/Lab Pulsar 2. Definitely a shoe following in the footsteps of some which grace the feet of some of the most elite trail runners on the planet, this shoe is built to go fast.

Built with a subtly designed, Contagrip rubber outsole, the traction is made for the rocky, dry trails here in Colorado (though there is always the Salomon S/Lab Pulsar 2 SG for those who need a bit more lug).

The midsole is poppy with enough cushion to dampen microvibrations while holding up to the demands of longer trail runs.

The Matryx upper brings lightweight durability and overall ass kicking fit (IF your foot isn't too wide).
