Luck Has Run Out! No Brakes!!!

My 1990 Ford F-150 brakes went out on the way to the store to scan my lotto cards.

Gonna investigate if it's a broken line or wheel cylinder.

If you are driving and suddenly your brake pedal goes to the floor, you have a few options. If in dire situation and you have to stop asap, immediately put the vehicle into PARK and continue to steer the vehicle til you come to a full stop. Yes you might destroy your transmission, but it might save your life or someone elses. If you need to slow down but not immediately stop, manually down shift to a lower gear. The high rpms will decelerate the vehicle without to much risk to your transmission. As you slow down keep shifting down to come to a crawl. The vehicle will continue to move in 1st gear. When you are going very slow, shift to NEUTRAL. Again continue to steer the vehicle as it will continue to move. When you find a safe spot, shift from neutral to Park. The vehicle will come to a full stop.
