Makeup enthusiast James Charles made a video where he tries out Korean makeup, but he makes the mistake of using Chinese-made makeup and does it with Chinese and Japanese influencers instead of a Korean social media influencer.
YouTube viewers called James out for using Chinese makeup instead of Korean makeup from Douyin instead o Korean brands, and the fact that Ajems decided to collaborate with Japanese influencer ID koocat, who is a makeup influencer, and Chinese influencer ID lafu911 on Douyin.
A lot of other viewers were calling James out for using "Korean makeup" in his video title to get views, when in fact, the makeup was made in China and is not a Korean brand.

Other people told James to try other country-made makeup as a suggestion.
James did not reply back to the error made on his video.

If James wanted to try Korean makeup, he could actually contact a Korean makeup influencer and try it with the person instead of using an incorrect one and still try to pass it off as Korean to get views.
