Age Of Darkness: Final Stand | A Brutally Hard Tower Defence RPG

My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review.

In this episode I check out Age Of Darkness: Final Stand, which was developed by PlaySide Studios and published by Team 17, the creators of Trepang 2 which ive also reviewed. Age Of Darkness is a mix of RPG and Tower Defence Game that was inspired by the iconic Zombie Survival Game They Are Billions. Age Of Darkness returns the player to a Dark Fantasy world where a once mighty kingdom has fallen into ruin due to a deadly fog called the Veil, from which spreads the Nightmares, demonic creatures bent on mankinds annihilation. The only thing standing against the Nightmare is The Order, a militant order of dedicated knights and soldiers. However the order harbours its own secrets which threaten to tear them apart

Age Of Darkness recieved mixed reviews on steam, primarily due to its unrelenting difficulty and high learning curve. However if you can master the games units and strategy you will find an incredibly challenging but rewarding experience.
