Musk Issues Chilling Warning About AI – ‘Civilization Risk’

Musk was in Washington D.C. to attend a closed-door summit on AI that was also attended by Big Tech powerplayers like Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Sundar Pichai and Sam Altman. Musk told reporters afterwards that the summit, which all 100 senators were invited to attend, was “historic.”

“I think this meeting could go down in history as important to the future of civilization,” Musk said, according to CNBC. “The consequences of AI going wrong are severe so we have to be proactive rather than reactive.”
