The Watcher in the Shadows

A young woman becomes the target of a meticulous serial killer while stopping at a cafe on a rainy April day. Unbeknownst to her, the killer has been closely watching the woman's every move, from the bounce of her hair when she enters to the way she wraps strands around her finger while lost in thought. He studies while she waits anxiously for someone who never shows, making her the perfect victim to lead out of the cafe through a pre-planned abandoned alleyway. Armed with a prepared syringe full of sedative, the stalker trails the woman as she finally leaves, following her home through the rain, mentally relishing the thought of soon adding her to his catalog of vanished project victims.
