Bits of Torah Truths - John the Baptist used the Torah to Rebuke Herod - Episode 18

Mark 6:18
יח כִּי יוֹחָנָן אָמַר לְהוֹרְדוֹס׃ ״אֵשֶׁת אָחִיךָ אֵינָהּ מֻתֶּרֶת לְךָ.״ (ויקרא יח׳ טז׳)

Leviticus 20:21
כא וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִקַּ֛ח אֶת־אֵ֥שֶׁת אָחִ֖יו נִדָּ֣ה הִ֑וא עֶרְוַ֥ת אָחִ֛יו גִּלָּ֖ה עֲרִירִ֥ים יִהְיֽוּ׃

Here John used Leviticus 20:21 regarding the command not to marry your brother's wife. This suggests that the Torah is still valid today as much as it was when this book was written!
