Why is September 17th so important?

September 17th is the day we commemorate the signing of the US Constitution in Philadelphia on September 17th, 1787.

The US Constitution is the basis for America's great heritage and the foundation for our way of life
From September 17th to the 23rd we Celebrate Constitution Week.

For the next 10 days Osceola County residents who are members and friends of our chapter will walk you through the first 10 amendments to the constitution, known as the bill of rights. Why it is so important to understand our rights.

We hope this inspire you to read and learn the constitution; spend some time teaching it to your young ones in order to preserve the history and values of a free republic.
