PSALM 6 - RHYTHM OF REDEMPTION

Woke up this morning, tear-stained face,
Lord, how long till I find that grace?
Enemies all around, got me feeling so low,
But I know You're the One who won't let me go.
Every night I lay, pain in my bones,
Crying out to You, Lord, from the depths of my soul.
Enemies want me gone, they revel in my despair,
But with You by my side, I ain’t going anywhere.

Oh Lord, heal my soul, keep me whole,
With every beat and rhyme, You're the rhythm in my role.
In my darkest nights, You're the lamp to my feet,
When I’m lost in the beat, it's Your love that I seek.

My sins cast shadows, my guilt it grows,
But Your mercy is endless, this much I know.
You're the King of kings, the Giver of life,
Turning my mourning into dancing, cutting through strife.
When the world pushes hard, tries to make me fall,
I turn my eyes to You, You hear my every call.
Enemies might laugh, think they've seen my end,
But with Your strength in me, I rise again and ascend.

Oh Lord, heal my soul, keep me whole,
With every beat and rhyme, You're the rhythm in my role.
In my darkest nights, You're the lamp to my feet,
When I’m lost in the beat, it's Your love that I seek.

I might stumble, might falter, might drift away,
But You, Lord, You're steadfast, never lead me astray.
The world brings its battles, but You're my shield and sword,
I’ll praise Your name with every lyric, every chord.

Death may surround, pain may persist,
But Your love is the fire, I can't resist.
Enemies may chatter, plot my demise,
But I stand tall, looking up to the skies.
I know there’s redemption, I know there’s a plan,
With You guiding my steps, I know where I stand.
Enemies, they might think they've got me beat,
But with the Almighty, I can't be beat, I stand elite.

Oh Lord, heal my soul, keep me whole,
With every beat and rhyme, You're the rhythm in my role.
In my darkest nights, You're the lamp to my feet,
When I’m lost in the beat, it's Your love that I seek.

So, here I stand, with open palms,
Singing the praises, singing the psalms.
For through every trial, every test and song,
You, Lord, have been with me all along.
