How long, O Lord, will you forget?
My heart is heavy, my eyes are wet.
The shadow lingers, night won't flee,
But in the darkness, I’ll still believe.

For in my sorrow, in my pain,
Your love remains, ever the same.
Though the night feels ever so long,
I’ll find my strength in your song.

Enemies rise, they laugh, they jest,
Yet in your arms, I find my rest.
The world may falter, but you stand true,
In the silent moments, I'll reach for you.

Oh, the doubt may cloud my sight,
But you've always been my guiding light.
When I feel lost, when hope seems gone,
Your enduring love carries me on.
