YHVH God, no doubt in the form of the Word, descended upon Mt.Sinai.
There, He established a covenant with the Israelites, giving them oracles,
or instructions (aka Commandments) and the Torah (Law) to Moshe.
It is a foreshadow of Messiah's coming as both Savior and King.
