The Defense Rests

Rio Hondo Prep improved to 5-0 on the season with a 42-6 victory over previously unbeaten Boron. Five different Rio players scored for the Kares, but it was the RHP defense that stole the show. They held the Bobcats to one score very late in the game and refused to let the opponent establish any kind of rhythm. Head Coach Mark Carson recaps the big win while he is out at KYL Upland where a few familiar faces stop by to say hello. We are also joined by Sophomore WR/DB Calogero Chico who had another interception on defense and continues to contribute in all three phases of the game.
