1957 GM/GMC Speedometer Started Screaming At Me! Took It More Apart, Super Cleaned & Lube.

I tried not to go in so deep last time but it didn't work. I got a mile from the house and it started to howl. I took it apart and hit some hard spots but with some ultrasonic cleaning, brake clean and just a bunch of time I think it will work. I may never read the correct speed, and it will never again show miles driven, but it works and that's alright with me. I also think I now know why the glass is pitted.
