The Terry Fox Run is an annual charity 3km/10km walk/run event that takes place at Ceperley Park in Stanley Park, Vancouver, Canada.
You can either run or walk either of the routes. Most walkers will walk the 3km course. Runners run either the 3km or 10km routes.
After the run, there are usually some snacks for the participants.

About, Terrance Stanley Fox CC OD was a Canadian athlete, humanitarian, and cancer research activist. In 1980, with one leg having been amputated due to cancer, he embarked on an east-to-west cross-Canada run to raise money and awareness for cancer research.
