Tounges and other subjects

This is a short lesson on the gift of tongues that kind of morphs into lesson on some of the false doctrine that's fallen into our churches and it ends with kind of a short little tidbit on how you should study and pray now these things are related so we're not going down too much of A rabbit hole here. What it is and I'll give it to you here in writing as well is the gift of tongues as a missionary gift and the Pentecostal and Apostolic churches use it incorrectly and unbiblically. How we can find ourselves good before God is by testing our doctrines through scripture if we have a doctrine that we believe in we should always test it through scripture and if it doesn't pass that test we need to get rid of that doctrine. Like the doctrine of women preachers and women leaders within church that the Apostolic, Episcopal, and Wesleyan churches profess as true. Within Timothy and Titus both scripture clearly teaches that all leaders within the church be they preacher pastor etcetera must be male this includes deacons and elders if you don't like that take it up with God. The final portion within this I talk about how you need to be reading your scripture and that the average reader reading 15 minutes per day we'll get through the scriptures in one year 15 minutes isn't a lot to give to God. Personally i prefer 15 minutes of normal get through the bible reading and then about 1/2 an hour to 45 minutes of in depth study. This will in effect give you both your overall reading and your scriptural food daily when it comes to the Sabbath day whatever day you take your Sabbath I do suggest you pick a day now I don't think you actually have to keep the Sabbath on the 7th day like scripture commands most Christians do it on the first day now but I do believe that it helps to pick one day and keep it at that day. I do keep my Sabbath day on Saturday but you don’t have to. Lastly I go into prayer and I believe you should pray at least 15 minutes per day but prayer is your weak spot you should probably Jack that up to half an hour and I don't mean just sit there for half an hour praying I mean pray maybe 5 minutes in the morning 5 minutes in the middle of the day and 5 minutes at the end of the day to get your 15 minutes now you can increase this to 10 minutes for each of those or double the amount of times you're praying if prayer is your weak spots I hope this helps.
