The Suspicious Death of Mary Sherman

Dr. Mary Sherman was a world renowned orthopedic surgeon, professor, and cancer researcher. On July 21st, 1964, her body was found in her New Orleans apartment, stabbed to death, badly burned, and missing her entire right arm. Her unsolved case attracted the attention of New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison, who was investigating a conspiracy to kill President Kennedy. According to witness reports, Dr. Sherman had connections to many of the people suspected to be involved in the JFK assassination, including Lee Harvey Oswald, David Ferrie, Clay Shaw, and Dr. Alton Ochsner.
