The Department of Justice convinced a D.C. jury to convict two women in their 70s of violating the FACE Act for protesting outside an abortion clinic. Journalist Stephen Horn was convicted for disorderly conduct because he reported from the Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021. Another young man who spent less than 10 minutes inside the Capitol on January 6 committed suicide after being charged for participating in the fake “insurrection.” This is at least the fourth suicide of a January 6 defendant.
