I think the mother and daughter regret their in it. Ozzy is Broken, most likely from the cabal. My guess is his accident was no accident and once u join the evil they won't let you leave.

As a youngster I was such a fan of Ozzy and loved his music. And seeing his torn apart life, I believe he was not happy following satan, but of course I'm not really sure.
