In this episode, the Trump Administration has designated Cartel de los Soles (Cartel of the Sun) as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, but some folks say the group doesn’t even exist. In other news, a new report reveals that Andrew and Tristan Tate’s electronic devices were seized earlier this year when they visited the U.S. Their attorney says the devices were never returned. This confirms the long-rumored investigation(s) of the two brothers by U.S. authorities was active earlier this year and that the investigation was being run out of DHS’s HSI unit. A unit that specifically hunts human traffickers. Finally, I have a ‘for your consideration’ segment regarding Comey’s handwritten note that was filed as an exhibit a couple weeks ago in United States v. Comey. The vast majority of people have taken it as evidence, confirmation even, that Comey lied in a September 30, 2020 hearing. The alleged lie was later featured as the failed Count One in the case against him. But I believe there is an alternative explanation, both for the note and for Comey’s answers in that hearing. In this episode, we go over the criminal case against multiple Antifa-affiliated defendants who recently received either a plea deal OR a superseding indictment, which added new charges—including rioting, attempted murder, and terrorism. Then we turn to the criminal case against Comey and the numerous significant issues that are elucidated in a new ORDER and MEMORANDUM from Magistrate Judge Fitzpatrick. Though U.S. Attorney Halligan was able to get a STAY on that order, the case appears to be in dire straits, as missteps, misconduct, violations of the defendants’ rights, and improper procedures before the grand jury by Halligan and others involved in the investigation have surfaced. Perhaps there are reasonable explanations for all those issues. We may get those explanations before the end of this week. In this episode, I bring you up to speed on the latest filings in United States v. Comey, particularly regarding the grand jury proceedings that generated the indictment and the issue of Lindsey Halligan’s appointment as Interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. One judge is examining whether or not privileged material was shared with the grand jury, and another judge is considering the lawfulness of Halligan's appointment. Both issues have the potential to sink the case. In support of their case and the appointment, DOJ has filed new affidavits from two FBI agents and one each from Attorney Halligan and AG Bondi, plus a timeline of the grand jury proceedings. Next, I walk you through a newly disclosed 2017 email chain about a potential investigation into the Hillary Clinton campaign’s payment for the Steele Dossier. An FBI agent sought to open the probe and requested advice on proceeding from a key figure in the DOJ’s Public Corruption Unit and a chief legal official in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. Both advised against pursuing it. The email chain was provided to Senator Grassley by FBI Director Patel and Attorney General Bondi after Grassley was tipped off by a whistleblower. Finally, in the show’s final hour, I present a “for your consideration”-style segment. I take you back to 2016 and revisit the early months of Crossfire Hurricane and Russiagate, framing the saga in a fresh—or perhaps evolved—light. In this episode, voting machine company Smartmatic has been added as a defendant in a criminal case related to the 2016 Philippine elections. It is alleged that Smartmatic and the already indicted executives of the company bribed a Philippine election official, also indicted, to award over $180 million in contracts to the company for voting machines. Also, there’s a new criminal case against Antifa affiliates in Texas for the July attack on officers at an ICE detention facility. It’s a first of its kind case, which charges the individuals for material support of terrorists, in this instance-Antifa. In this episode, I go over the OIG Report on Andrew McCabe and relevant text messages between Lisa Page and Peter Strzok in light of the recent indictment against former FBI Director James Comey. Since we can reasonably assume that PERSON 1 in the indictment is Hillary Clinton, it’s possible that PERSON 3 is either Andrew McCabe or Lisa Page. Other candidates are Daniel Richman, James Baker, and James Rybicki, but for this episode we are going to consider the indictment from the angle that it’s McCabe or Page. The OIG Report on McCabe shows that he lied about Comey’s approval of leaks to the media and that he lied to Comey, to INSD agents, and to OIG investigators about his use of Lisa Page as an anonymous source for the Wall Street Journal’s Devlin Barret. It wasn’t until he realized Horowitz had the Page-Strzok text messages that he began to tell some of the truth. If this indictment against Comey is based on lies told by McCabe, then who do you believe? McCabe or Comey? In the next episode we’ll take a look at the OIG Report on Comey and consider the indictment in light of that report and with the assumption that Richman is Person 3. In this episode, we dive into the recent Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General (OIG) report on Charles McGonigal, the former FBI Special Agent in Charge of the Counterintelligence Division in the New York Field Office. Once a trusted figure in national security, McGonigal was found to have engaged in serious misconduct, including tipping off the China Energy Fund Committee (CEFC) and its chairman about an ongoing FBI investigation, secretly working for Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska in violation of U.S. sanctions, and accepting large sums of cash from foreign nationals in exchange for sensitive FBI information. In this episode, declassified FBI memos reveal that beginning in 2017, an HPSCI staffer and career intelligence officer alerted the FBI and DOJ OIG to one or more schemes directed by then-Rep. Adam Schiff to leak classified information to media in order to smear, “indict,” and “topple” the Trump Administration. This whistleblower met with authorities at least five times between 2017 and 2023, but charges were not brought against Schiff or anyone else involved in the scheme. Might that be about to change? The statute of limitations has run out on the singular act of leaking in 2017, but since this involved several (eight or more) people engaging in a coordinated effort, it could be seen by an intrepid prosecutor as, perhaps, a grand conspiracy to weaponize intelligence and law enforcement institutions against a President and his administration. The statute of limitations on something like this has barely begun to tick. Also, the judge overseeing the Maxwell case has denied DOJ’s bid to unseal the grand jury material. This, of course, has made people on both extremes of the political spectrum very upset. But should they be? No, and even if the judge were able to grant the request, which by law he cannot, would we learn anything new? No, we wouldn’t, and revealing that may be the entire point of the unsealing effort. In this episode, I read a brief excerpt from one of my favorite books, The Almanack of Naval Ravikant, exploring what it means to be a clear thinker, the essence of contrarianism, and how preconceived notions and emotions can distort our perception of reality. Next, I discuss my article, "Epstein Killed Himself," which focuses less on the suicide itself and more on the cognitive warfare and groupthink surrounding the topic. My goal isn’t to persuade listeners to agree with the article or the Deputy Director of the FBI—though I believe the available evidence strongly challenges the popular narrative—but to highlight it as a case study in the psychology of information warfare. It demonstrates how a meme can persist even when evidence contradicts it. Finally, I share insights from an article titled "Derangement Discourse," which examines the psychology of today’s polarized politics and the challenges of engaging in meaningful dialogue with those who view disagreement as derangement. Revolutionary movements, even soft ones, often feature inner tensions, and MAGA is no exception: there’s the justified fight against corruption in American institutions versus the risk of overreach; there are chaos agents and infiltrators pushing too far, causing the movement to consume itself; and there are unworthy heroes and sycophants whose loud support for the movement’s successes masks their own derangement. As you listen or watch, remember that understanding is more valuable than reacting. My goal is to help us become better informed and clearer thinkers, not triggered reactors. This applies to me as much as anyone, and I’ll continue working to communicate these ideas more effectively. I share updates on the case and will provide periodic updates in future episodes, though not daily. Senator Grassley persists in his push for transparency and accountability at the DOJ, FBI, and HHS. We explore new documents from the Crossfire Hurricane Binder, sparking a discussion on Bruce and Nellie Ohr, Oleg Deripaska, and others, plus recently released notes from McCabe regarding Flynn. This leads us to revisit the Flynn/Kislyak phone call transcripts, and it all connects to Flynn v. United States, which was dismissed without prejudice last December, but there is an amended complaint on the way now as the Binder sheds new light on the setup that LTG Michael Flynn and the first Trump Admin suffered. We finally have the Crossfire Hurricane Binder*—a collection of seemingly random Crossfire Hurricane-related memos, text messages, interview transcripts, etc., many still with redactions and most having already been released to Congress, used in court cases, or given to media. So why get excited about it? Well, at first I wasn’t all THAT excited. I’m not a fan of the Trump Administration’s apparent preference for releasing declassified materials to only a handful of journalists instead of posting it online somewhere for EVERYONE to have instant access to. That made me a bit sour on the release at first. But as I browsed the material over the past few days and as it reactivated my interests in the subject matter, my enthusiasm increased. The majority of the material is not new nor massively revelatory; however, there are some fresh tiles of info that help us assemble the Crossfire Hurricane mosaic, if you will. : ) I’ll likely do at least two videos on this material. In this first installment I highlight some of the big finds, like the Admiral Rodgers interview and payments to Steele and Halper, before digging around and bouncing from doc to doc, from the Binder to the Durham Report to the Horowitz Report and back to the Binder material. Usually I arrive at an episode with a decidedly contrarian take on the news at hand. I like finding the flaw or the fake within the news, the sleight of hand that is occurring, or the manipulation with how it is being presented that, if exposed, alters the story being told. I also enjoy highlighting the grander strategies in play. To some degree and in my own way, I do both of those things in this episode. But I am arriving at the microphone for this episode with much less of a contrarian disposition than is my norm. That is because I can relate to the major economic news of today and the last several days. Or rather, I relate to how others are relating to the economic news of recent days. My confidence in the Trump administration and its economic strategies aside— I get it. I identify with the stress, with the reactions, and with the panic. I relate to the catastrophizing because catastrophic thinking, well, I do that a lot. I'm okay, but defeating the vicious, negative thought loops, especially once they get an entropy to them, and escaping the distortions they imbue is exhausting. All across the recent news cycles, negative thought loops are being sown, leading people to be captured by both the negative narratives coming at them and their own catastrophizing based on those narratives. So with all that in mind, I approach this episode not so much with an aim to contradict the narratives themselves but instead to adjust your perspective on them through reorientation and with clarity from where you are, not from where the negative narrative originates. In this episode, Eric Adams, the current Democrat Mayor of New York City and former NYPD captain, former Borough President, and former New York State Senator, has been indicted by the S.D.N.Y. on five counts, including conspiracy, bribery, soliciting foreign contributions, and wire fraud, with more charges likely. It’s just Adams that is charged for now, but the large number of raids, search warrants, and subpoenas that have gone out related to this (these) investigation(s), plus references to “his agents” and/or “his co-conspirators,” as the indictment calls them in one paragraph, all lead me to believe that more people are going to be charged. There are also some clues (*cough* Rudy *cough*) that the initial investigation(s) may have begun well before Biden's administration was even a thing, which makes Adam’s criticisms of the Biden administration look a little different if that is the case. i.e., Adams was dissatisfied with Biden because Biden wasn’t calling off DOJ, so he mouthed off about Biden policies and rather than the inverse. #DrainTheSwamp is real. In this episode, we focus on just two sets of documents: a filing by Trump’s counsel in the J6/Election Interference case brought by Special Counsel Smith against President Trump and a new filing by the FBI in the Seth Rich FOIA case. The first filing, an omnibus reply by Trump’s team, asks Judge Chutkan to address the significant discovery issues in that case prior to any other advancement of the case. The arguments are solid, well crafted, and delivered, peppered with entertaining zingers, too. More interesting, though, are the asides, hints, disclosures, and foreshadowing. It may be my favorite filing from that docket to date. In the Seth Rich FOIA case, the FBI finally discloses how and when they learned of the Seth Rich homicide investigation and provides two previously sealed documents from October 2022: a Seidel Declaration describing the acquisition of the Seth Rich personal laptop and creation of an FD-302 and a Declaration by an Assistant United States Attorney and Chief of the Homicide Section of the DC U.S. Attorney’s Office. It’s a lot to fit into a 2-hour show, and I rifle through them as quickly as I can while giving commentary and pulling up associated material here and there—a coffee and snack is recommended for this episode. In this episode, I take you back through articles concerning Iranian cyber ops and then to recent disclosures and reactions to the successful compromise of a Trump campaign staffer's email account and the theft of hundreds of pages of documents—a dossier even—and sent many of these documents to DC media, who then kept quiet about them until the Trump campaign announced to the world that they had been hacked. The whole thing is giving me an unshakeable spell of Steele Dossier déjà vu. I also take you through some big news in the Seth Rich FOIA case. The judge has denied plaintiff Huddleston's request that the FBI expand it's search for FOIA'able documents outside of the Bureau, but he has also denied the FBI's attempt to hide all of the information contained on Seth Rich’s personal laptop, Seth Rich’s work laptop, the DVD, and the tape drive behind a categorical application of Exemption 7(A). Furthermore, and this is the big news, he has ordered the FBI to conduct a document-by-document review of the information it possesses on the compact disk containing images of Seth Rich’s personal laptop, Seth Rich’s work laptop, the DVD, and the tape drive. He has also ordered the FBI to subsequently produce the Vaughn Index he ordered them to produce six months ago or file a motion for summary judgment, again, once the document-by-document review is complete. Either way, they have to do the review, which I believe will force them from the position of categorically withholding information behind Exemption 7(A) to eventually having to defend withholding individual documents. In this episode, documents obtained by Just The News show that Asif Raza Merchant was granted a special kind of "parole" by the FBI after they conducted an interview with him upon his arrival in the country and learned of his recent travels to Syria and Iran. Additionally, a cofounder of the voting system company Smartmatic and two additional employees have been charged by the DOJ with conspiracy, bribery, and fraud. It's the same case we learned about from Patrick Byrne last September. It was sealed until now. Plus, Gov Youngkin issues an Executive Order securing elections in Virginia and Special Counsel Smith asks Judge Chutkan for a three-week delay in the election interference case against Trump, but is he running into DOJ’s 60-Day Rule? In this episode, I find out that not only is J.D. Vance a fantastic pick for V.P., he was the obvious choice all along and signifies a return to the intellectual prowess and American optimism that once hallmarked the GOP. All of my links in one spot- https://linktr.ee/just_human In this episode, we wrap up our examination of Special Counsel Weiss’s indictment of FBI CHS Alexander Smirnov, who we now know was the source for the June 30th, 2020 FD-1023 report that Joe and Hunter Biden accepted $10 million in bribes from Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Burisma, in exchange for influencing United States policy towards Ukraine and protection from Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin. According to the indictment, Smirnov lied to the FBI in that FD-1023 form and lied again when interviewed in reference to claims in it. Assuming for the moment that the indictment is correct and Smirnov did lie about these things, why? Why did he make up these lies in the summer of June 2020? I asked in the last part if Smirnov was another Danchenko. Now I am asking, is he another Christopher Steele?
