2. **Takedown Lever:** The takedown lever is flipped to the 6:00 position while the slide is locked to the rear.

3. **Slide Removal:** The slide release is pushed down into the frame, the trigger is pulled, and the slide is slid off the frame.

4. **Recoil Spring:** The recoil spring is compressed towards the front of the slide and removed.

5. **Barrel Removal:** The barrel is pushed up from the bottom, dislodged, and then pulled out from the slide.

Reassembly:
1. **Barrel:** The flat part of the barrel, which says "9mm," faces down and is slid into the slide from the front.

2. **Recoil Spring:** The hexed front end of the recoil spring is pushed into the front of the slide, compressed, and sits into a notch on the barrel.

3. **Slide onto Frame:** The slide is aligned with the frame's rails and slid back until it locks into place.

4. **Takedown Lever:** The takedown lever is flipped back up into its original position.

5. **Function Check:** A function check is performed to ensure the firearm is properly reassembled, including checking the trigger reset.
