FRESH WATER LAKES INCL GREAT LAKES & PRISTINE LAKE TAHOE, ARE LOADED WITH MICROPLASTICS

Fresh water lakes, including the great lakes and lakes that appear pristine and clear, are loaded with microplastics. About 90% of water samples taken over the last 10 years from the Great Lakes contain microplastic levels that are unsafe for wildlife. Humans ingest the microplastics in the fish caught in the lakes and beverages made with lake water.
