Persistence is the ability to return to a task to accomplish a goal. This helps us overcome distractions, and consciously return to doing something.
Habits are the tasks we utilize repetitively to accomplish a goal. They are formed and broken over time to unconsciously return to doing something.
Working together, amazing things can be accomplished. They can conflict with each other, as well. For all instances... if the goal is considered ridiculous / absurd... Well, that's just OCD.
